                                   CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY: 2008 - 2011 Back
                                            
    YOGASTEPSTM Trainings are quality based. They are very economical compared to other programs offering equivalent certification with national  
 certifying bodies. There is a lot of planning and coordination that goes into bringing a YOGASTEPSTM Training Workshop  to your community. In  
 addition, today's new economic environment has raised the cost of providing these  trainings. Marketing lead times, effort and costs have also become more  
involved, demanding and expensive. In order to maintain the planned training schedules,  we need for those planning to register to do so as early as possible   
taking advantage of the 'EARLY BIRD' discounts and saving  money. This will help us to plan our trip expenses in a more economical way.  
   
If you have registered for a training, and something occurs that requires you to change your plans, we ask that you consider the following:  
 
 A) We automatically issue you a registration credit for use at an upcoming workshop. If you look at our schedule, you will  see we are constantly holding trainings in cities that are within a few to several hours drive from you.  
 
 B) If you must cancel and do not realistically think you will be able to work towards attending another upcoming workshop within the next 90 days, then we will refund your fee if so required.  
 
 C) The cost of credit card fees  to merchants is excessive. Yet, they are a function of facilitating your transactions. Your receipt of rewards points has doubled this expense in 2008. All refunds will be net of credit card charges over 2.5%,  
 
                                                        ~ We will refund your registration fee if you need us to do so in light of the above statements ~  
 
1) We do impose a CANCELLATION FEE to help us offset several of the expenses we do incur. Also, this is to hopefully encourage you to work with us.  
Sometimes workshops have a fairly large number of participants and in some cities the resource pool of potential yoga teachers is not as plentiful, yet the  
 need for our quality certification remains. Therefore, we work to hold the scheduled trainings as long as our threshold number is maintained. This number can  
be effected if by someone withdraws a registration thus impacting the planned schedule for those who have registered and have made arrangements to attend. Even with someone taking the credit and attending later, the revenue/expense threshold can still be meet.  
 
2) CANCELLATION FEE Structure: If you need to cancel, and know that you will not be able to attend a training in the near future, the following shall apply:  
   a - Provide us with a Cancellation Notice by both e-mail and voice mail: 800-269-0802.  (The voice mail is time and date stamped.) Make sure we have verified receipt of your notice within 24 hours.  
  
  b - If your notice is received between 49 hours to 144 hours (3 to 6 days, inclusive) to the posted start time of the workshop, we will impose a cancellation fee of 20%.  
 
 c - If your notice is received 48 hours or less from the posted start time, then, we will impose a cancellation fee of 28%. This will help us to be able to provide the training as scheduled if close to our threshold time.  
 
 d - All REFUNDS will be in the form of a check and mailed to you. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of the ending time of the actual workshop. (Credit cards impose additional charges on us to reverse charge a cc transaction.)  
 
  e -  Due to the nature of the additional discounts found in a discounted, pre-purchased tuition fee package, the following terms shall apply: We will impose a 25% fee, deduct any credit card fees and subtract the standard price for the workshops you have already taken. If we held a workshop as scheduled and you missed it, then we will issue you a credit for that workshop, the cost will be subtracted from the calculated refund. The balance will be paid to you in one to  three installments over a period of 99 days, depending on amount.    
 
3) RE-SCHEDULE: In the event we are compelled to re-schedule a working, which is rare, we reserve the right to re-schedule the training to a weekend within the next two months. We will notify you within seven days of the postponed training.  You are asked to work with us to make this transfer of the date workable for you. Your registration is transferred to that new training date. If we cannot do this, we will refund your registration fee within 30 days. If, the weekend selected is not doable for you, we will refund the fee minus a 6% refund charge.
